Born and bred in Southern Virginia, Jayme was bitten by the acting bug after playing a scene-stealing giant in her kindergarten play and continued acting through college, starring in roles such as Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, and Lady Larkin in Once Upon A Mattress. Her father was also an actor, so she grew up doing characters, impersonations and funny voices with him, leading to her love of comedy and voiceover. She was discovered and signed at 15, booking her first role on Investigation Discovery's Wicked Attractions.

She obtained BAs in Theatre & Film from Elon University, where she acted in numerous student films/plays and co-wrote, produced, directed and acted in a play based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe entitled Lucid Nightmares. She's a huge advocate for mental health and looks to be a light for others, actively working within her community through The Trevor Project and her company Guiding Glow Candle Co., which helps raise mental health awareness through aromatherapy. In 2020, she launched her production company, Elpida Productions, to develop/produce projects and create opportunities for women in film. She's based in Los Angeles, where she continues to create content, perform with Flat Tire Theatre Coand is an active member of Women in Animation and NAVA. Most recently, she can be seen in the film Matches, directed and produced by Emmy Award-Winning producer Blake Vaz. She also starred in the film Friends Like These, written and produced by Asha Michelle Wilson (Archer, American Horror Story) which just completed a successful festival run. She has written 2 features and 2 series that are currently in development.

When she's not on set or in the vocal booth, you can find her hiking with her schnoodle Trace, curled up with a cup of black coffee and a good book, or exploring every lighthouse in America. Some of her favorite things include: writing poetry, doing puzzles, playing piano and banjo, cookin' up Southern goodies, visiting museums and doing any fall-related activities!
